Growing A Respected Brand
Carolina Therapeutics is the region’s most respected and fastest-growing therapeutic practice. Case in point, when we initially designed a website for the company in 2020, they had two clinical office locations with ambition to open a third and to radically expand their practice in order to best serve individuals and families in need of therapeutic support.
Led by passionate founders and a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, Carolina Therapeutics is now a family of practices: Carolina Therapeutics, Carolina Therapeutics Academy, and Carolina Therapeutic Ranch.
A New Challenge
Having worked together for a few years, we were able to hit the ground running with plans for the two new websites Carolina Therapeutics would need.
After getting the lay of the land over Zoom, we visited the ranch at JF Tuff Stables in Rock Hill to meet the broader team – including the horses – and really understand the what and the why of their extended mission. And while the preschool wasn’t ready for us to visit, we peppered the team with questions to wrap our arms around the important work they would be doing there, too.
As was the case with the original website, we were committed to:
- Providing seamless navigation between the multitude of services across each practice
- Crafting language that showcases the personal investment of every team member
- Demonstrating the profound impact of the therapy services offered
- Ensuring critical resources needed by users are easy to find and access
- Delivering fully optimized sites to increase Google Search visibility and site traffic
Each Carolina Therapeutics practice within the family of brands operates both as a unique entity and as part of a whole. The sites needed to be cohesive and offer similar navigation, and also to showcase their individual “personality” and stand alone.
At the foundation of this notion was to create a suite of clean and simple but bold brand marks that would inform the site designs and associated collateral. The result is a series of synergistic logos and websites that effectively operate independently and together.
As Carolina Therapeutics explores new avenues for mission fulfillment, there is room to add to this series of designs.
The new CT logo features a pinwheel design – a mix of sharp and curved points – symbolizing the pairing of care and specialization inherent to the Carolina Therapeutics brand.
The shapes are at once moving forward and circling the center, representing the cycle and progress of care. The negative space radiates from the center, symbolizing the joy brought by Carolina Therapeutics’ services.
Similarly, the Carolina Therapeutic Ranch logo offers forward momentum and emanating joy. The curved shapes showcase flexibility – of therapeutic approaches, of the horses, and of the students engaged in therapy – and the suggestion of sunshine gives a nod to nature and the outdoors.
The Carolina Therapeutics Academy logo is a little bit different. Rather than movement, there is a concentration on stability. It is fixed and dependable, yet dynamic. The points at the center and the outside show a strong and direct correlation between a students’ home life and school life. Further, the flower element of the shape suggests growth; blooming.
Full Service Project
The new Carolina Therapeutics websites were scratch-made by the Beyond Marketing team – from the code and the optimized copy, to the graphic design and layouts. In creating the two new sites, we updated the original site and incorporated a number of ties to the Ranch and Academy without diluting the Clinic site.
