When we met Antonio Wade of Wade Construction, he was ready for his first-ever website after nearly three decades in business. The secret to his success is his motto, “You can have it good, you can have it bad, or you can have it right.” (Yes! Words we live by too!)
In addition to finding someone who would get his website done right, he needed a company he could trust to all but build it without him. To stay hands-on with his many clients, he needed to be hands-off with his website. From our first phone call, it was clear Beyond Marketing and Wade Construction were a match.
All these years, Antonio was the brand. Our first order of business was to develop a logo, brand identity, and visual identity guide for Wade Construction.
Our brand strategy team created a logo that feels strong, sturdy and, specifically, constructed. The peaked rooftops are the mirror image of the W monogram, and the C that encases them simplistically symbolizes the wraparound services customers receive when working with Wade Construction. The elements of the logo stand boldly together while being distinct and dynamic enough to stand alone.
Complementary graphics create visual interest and consistency across Wade Construction branded collateral and materials.
Antonio speaks passionately about his work, with sincere love about his home state, and with tremendous joy about the intersection he’s built between the two over 30 years. Antonio is principled in his pursuit to – above all else – help people.
We agreed that it was critical for the web copy to showcase the experience and expertise represented across the Wade Construction team, as well as communicate Antonio’s personal dedication and drive.
So, in addition to crafting copy about Wade Construction’s broad array of services, we were intentional to include a page telling prospective clients about the people, mission, and values behind Wade Construction. This is perhaps not a default choice for a home services company but, we believe, an important choice for most of our clients – and most definitely for Wade Construction.
Through careful listening, we were able to synthesize Antonio’s philosophy into a series of succinct statements, defining “The Wade Way” and clearly articulating the pillars upon which Antonio has built his business.
Of course, copy across the Wade Construction website is optimized for Google Search visibility.
Antonio is nothing if not authentic: “What you see is what you get.” He’s a straight shooter who sees no point in sugarcoating reality. We knew, then, that he would be receptive to our suggestion of scheduling a team photo shoot and securing photos of completed projects.
We are firm believers in portraying the people and products behind a brand. Stock photography has its place, but when possible real-deal photography always wins the day. You capture the essence of a brand when you see faces of actual team members; their pride and professionalism leaps off the screen.
With Antonio’s thumbs up, we printed branded team wear and developed a comprehensive shot list. The photography brings the website design to life. You can see that these are the people of Wade Construction.
Antonio Wade could not be happier with his fully optimized and highly visible website. It fulfills every criteria he set forth for the Beyond Marketing team, and then some.
